The most colorful and popular festival is Navratri celebrated throughout nine nights in the month of October and it ends with Dusshera. Other festivals celebrated in Gujarat are Diwali, Holi, Janmastami and Raksha Bandhan. Other festivals like International Kite Festival, Modhera Dance Festival and Saptak Music Festival are very unique to Gujarat.

Holi - In Gujarat, the people celebrate Holi with a great joy and colors. People are playing with colors and make other colorful. Small child are too take part in it and they are wetting other people by small balloons (in Gujarati called Fugga) and plastic Bags (in Gujarati called Kothli) and some of people are adding colors in the balloons and bags.
