The heritage week this year is To be celebrated between November 19 and 25, the week will have witness events which were not part of earlier heritage week celebrations in Ahmedabad.Events take place like Heritage walk,Audio walk,Biodynamic Organic food sessions,Story of Ahmedabad,heritage-based drama "Ek shehar Chhe Jaajarmaan - Enu Naam Chhe Amdavad (A city so majestic- its name is Amdavad)",painting event.

The heritage week this year is To be celebrated between November 19 and 25, the week will have witness events which were not part of earlier heritage week celebrations in Ahmedabad.

The Events and is Schedule Which Take Place During The heritage week are listed below:

*Heritage walk - It is organised at Palanpur city of Banaskantha district.

*Audio walk

* 'City heritage Centre' at Diwanji ni Haveli, Sankdi Sheri and Manek Chowk

*Biodynamic Organic food sessions at Akshargram on Ashram Road,Which will help people to create awareness among citizens about organic food.

This sessions will be conducted daily throughout the week from 1 pm to 6 pm.

During this people know about the importance of food grown without pesticides.

* 'Story of Ahmedabad'- The 600-year-old history of Ahmedabad which has been organised at ATMA house on Ashram Road.

*An exhibition of stamps,It is based on heritage and art Which has been arranged at Sardar Patel Bhavan heritage building, Danapith.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on November 19 at 4:30 pm.

Also a special envelope will be inaugurated bearing the symbol of 'chabutara' which has come to represent the city Ahmedabad With the help of AMC and Postal Department.

* The AMC is also organising one heritage-based drama "Ek shehar Chhe Jaajarmaan - Enu Naam Chhe Amdavad (A city so majestic- its name is Amdavad)" directed by theatre personality Archan Trivedi.

*The Gujarat Visual Artists Association (GVAA) has organised a painting event on November 20, in it 15 prominent artists of the city will participate.

The event will be held at Hutheesing temple from 10 am to 1:30 pm where the artists will make sketches of architecture and heritage of the city.
