    Gujarat is one of the most progressive state in the country. Lead by powerful leaders, the development of the state is unstoppable and non comparable. There are many beautiful places to visit in Gujarat. These could be weekend getaways or a long vacation.

    With the area of 1,96,024 sq km and overall population of 50,671,017, Gujarat is one of the most progressive states in the country. Every new day brings upon a new scheme of development making Gujarat a "State on the Move".

    Located on the west cost of India, Gujarat consists of 26 districts all with its own unique beauty and quality. Major places of visits in Gujarat include Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, GIR Forest in Junagadh, Mandi Beach in Kutch, Dwarka and Somnath temple in the south, Father of the Nation-Mahatma Gandhi's birth place in Porbandar, Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad and many more to mention.

    People of Gujarat are friendly and the food is delicious. Each of the districts have the taste of their own.While traveling from North towards south, you shall find more sweetness to the food. People in Gujarat prefer sweetness similar to their nature.

    People are good, places are worth stay, the cuisine is worth having; all of these qualities make Gujarat a must see; must visit place; a place to be.
