New name for SCJP exam is Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer (OCPJP). You just have to pass exam i.e. CX-310-065 to achieve the OCPJP certification. Oracle Certified Developer for the Java Platform (SCJD), Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the J2EE Platform (SCWCD).

I am working as a software Professional. I recently passed my SCJP 6.0 or OCPJP (new name) certification with 73% and want to share my experience with you all aspiring candidate who are ready or planing to take the test. Please comment your experience.

About OCPJP 6.0 certification

Oracle OCPJP 6.0 certification validates your ability to design applications using Java SE 6.0 technology. Passing this test is essential for you if you want to achieve Oracle Certified Developer for the Java Platform (SCJD), Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the J2EE Platform (SCWCD), Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD), Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer (SCMAD), Oracle Certified Solution Developer and Oracle Certified Enterprise Developer programs, and the Master CIW Enterprise Developer certifications.

OCPJP 6.0 certification requirements
