SCHOLARSHIP IN SINGAPORE FOR 11 & 12TH STD STUDENTS STUDYING IN INDIA

Global Indian International School(GIIS) - Singapore announces Scholarships for 11th & 12th Std Students of IB & CBSE studying in India for the acadamic year 2011-13.

1.ABOUT GIIS:-
GIIS-Singapore is one of Asia's largest international school in Asia and having 21schools across 8 countries. It has been awared the prestigious International APOO Award for Education Excellence for 2010 and India's National Quality Trophy (IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Qualtiy Award ) for 2010.

2.GIIS JUNIOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP 2011 AT SINGAPORE:-
Global India Foundation sponsors 2 year Scholarship programme for 11 & 12th standard students for studying at GIIS-Singapore for 2011-13 session. The scholarship worth S$ 66,000 per student includes of all tuition fees and boarding expenses, an annual allowance of S$2400,settling allowances of S$500, one time return air fare from India to Singapore. Medical benefits will given on subsidized base.There is no bond attached to this GIIS Scholarship programme.

3.ELIGIBILITY:-
85% minimum in Std 10 Pre-Board Exams, in Stds of 8 & 9 final exams conducted by CBSE or IGCSE or ICSE or any state Board with English as first language. On declarion of results the Board Exam mark sheet should be provided to GIIS. Shorlisted students will called for a written test in mid of April 2011. The written test will be held at Mumbai, Delhi,Bangaluru,Hyderabad,Chennai, Trichy, Kolkata,Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad & Surat. Written test will include Mathematics, English and General Ability. Interview will be held in June 2011. Selected students are expected to leave for Singapore by end of June 2011.

4.HOW TO APPLY:-
For Scholarship application Form website "click here".Take a print of the application from the web site and fill it up and attach the attested copy of Mark sheets of Std 10 Pre-Board Exam,Stds 8 &9 exams,Two passport size photographs,extra-curricular achievements and send it the below mentioned address. The application form should reach the address mentioned below before or by 09th March 2011.
