Rains Flood around in Saurashtra and Vadodara- Gujarat Floods

Gujarat has received a mamoth rainfall in the last few days and it seems to continue flooding in Saurashtra and Surat. Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar have also received haevy lashing of rainfall. Ukai Dam in Surat has released about 2 lakh cusecs of water in river Tapi.

Saurashtra, Surat, Jamnagar and Vadodara are becoming Water-logged cities

A major threat of water-flooding aroused in parts of Saurashtra, Surat and Vadodara as rains lash off heavy downpours in the state of Gujarat. This has brought about a chaos in parts of Vadodara and Saurashtra where rains are pouring with never-ending note.

What major note was found was, Surat's Ukai Dam released 2 lakh cusecs of water for safety note. This has brought off to a challenge for Surat's city has it might just become too big to handle under extreme pressure of rains. The water was released in river Tapi of Surat's city in Gujarat. While taking such a decision, district official of Surat said that, the situations can become worst if rainfall doesn't come under control in Surat, Gujarat. The Ukai Dam was flowing out water at the rate of 8.48 metres which is above the level of danger.

In Jamnagar, heavy patches of rain was also observable. This time, the rains have poured around 290mm of rainfall already in parts of Saurashtra. This has made a worry note on parts of Central Gujarat which includes cities like Ahmedabad and Bharuch which is on a strict high alert against deleberate rains in Gujarat state.

In Saurashtra, cities like Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, and Porbandar have already started suffering from heavy rains that is maing life unbearable against heavy waterloggs across the parts of cities in Gujarat. Meanwhile low-lying areas such as Somnath are given an alert for heavy raining for with some sudden flood that could arise out there. Roads and National Highways across the state of Gujarat and Saurashtra are under some position of being drowned away of rains. This has become a big desruption in transport system in Gujarat state.

Rescue team of Gujarat have underwent some serious work in Vadodara and Rajkot in last few days as it has become some crucial period to save the concern of life of the people. Even normal rains in Vadodara desrupted the busy schedule of people and it proved out be more destructive when heavy downpours continued for hours in cities of Gujarat.
