Surat is appreciated most in the world only for the selling of diamond.
Diamond is very precious thing and it is very costly than even gold as all we know.
Surat is economic capital of Gujarat and also one of the economic hubs of India.
I am proud for my surat to be famous for the work of diamond.
Surat is also called as Diamond City because of the work of diamond in it.

It is at the heart of the world's diamond-polishing industry, which in 2005 cut 92% of the world's diamond pieces and earned India $15 billion in exports. Here we can find the people who work in diamond workshop have to keep sharp attention on it while they are polishing because if they are caution less, they will have to bear it's cost by cutting their salary or they have to leave the workshop.
In surat you will find varachha place which gives more contribution in the diamond world for polished rough and diamond all around the world. My father is working in diamond so I have knowledge about it and he told me everything about the diamond business.

Surat is known for producing world-class synthetic clothes and textiles.
Textiles is growing very fastly in surat due to lots of earning. many businessmen spent their money in the embroidery machine which are very costly
but gives much money. In surat many people came from another state for their job
and employment due to it's economical value. Thus My surat is developing city in
the Gujarat.
The Prime Minister of Gujarat is Narendra Modi and he is the hero of Gujarat because he has done for Gujarat is unforgettable,
He loves Gujarat like a child love her mother. I like the Narendra Modi as PM of
Gujarat every time.
People of surat are very funny in nature and they like to eating fast food mostly. Surti people like to eat which is most famous and every surti has taste it even once in his life because it is very tasty.
