Surat to be projected as mini-India
|
SURAT: To demonstrate national integrity and brotherhood on the eve of Republic Day celebration, Bharat Bharati has organised a unique programme here. Tableaux of 22 states will be taken out to depict the diamond city as a mini-India.
The cultural floats will be flagged off on Tuesday from school number 8 and 9 near children traffic park at Majura Gate by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. People from the 22 different states, who have been living in the city for the past many years, will be present in large numbers.
