WHY IT is not more prevalent in Gujarat

THIS IS IN REGARD TO a quorum posting elsewhere as to why Gujarat is lagging behind in IT sector The reasons are not far to seek Primarily the Government has to support at all levels, establishing engineering colleges, and the like. Gujarat is known for its market friendly atmosphere but somewhere action has to be initiated Is it that students are going abroad or within india In the recent past even small and medium towns have come IT enabled and even in remotest villages people are conversant with IT awareness. Let us create a forum where what and how things could be done to the betterment of Gujarat.

One thing has just struck me now When Lalu Prasad Yadav was the CM of Bihar some correspondent inquired about IT in Bihar to which he replied IT BT kya hai while sending his own children to become IT savvy.

Things are not out of hand even now We must act now in a most proactive way at-least to begin with here in the Forum.

    Hello Mr.Ganesan,

IT has developed a lot in Gujarat. The Information Technology sector has paved a great success especially in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Saurashtra. The IT has recently been announcing fairs and promotional tunes so that it can be more friendly with the environment of Gujarat state.

Well if others believe that IT has lacked behing in Gujarat, then its quite wrong to report as such. Gujarat has ranked to be the fourth spot among the growing sectors of IT and it has encouraged many new companies to come up with something great in Gujarat. Moreover withstanding many successes, Gujarat has underwent nothing wrong related to ITs as such. We need to believe towards its growth very much!!

    Thanks and Regards,
